    As your conveyancer we will explain clearly the meaning and importance of each document. We will use plain English, not complicated legal terms, to help you understand exactly what you are signing. Drawing upon your instructions, your conveyancer will also assist you to meet your legal obligations and protect your rights and interests. Investigating the title of the property is one of the most important elements of conveyancing.

    Whether buying or selling, you should be aware of anything affecting the property such as proposals by government departments, illegal buildings, or outstanding rates. We are able to conduct the appropriate searches and inquiries on your behalf.

  • In April of 2014 the Land Titles Office introduced a new regulation that all Conveyancers, Banks and all lodging parties must be able to identify their clients.

    What does this mean to you?

    When meeting with Sea to City Conveyancing you will need to provide our office with:

    1. Drivers Licence and

    2. Passport or Birth Certificate

    3. Medicare Card

    If you do not have these documents available to you, please contact us to discuss this further with our office.

    If you are not able to get to our office to show us these documents, we can organise someone to come to you in your home or your office, what ever suites you.

  • In South Australia, it's advisable to conduct a building inspection before the cooling-off period ends to ensure the property is in good condition.

  • All property purchases in South Australia are subject to stamp duty, with concessions available only for matrimonial transfers, family farm transfers, and commercial properties.

  • Your property purchase should be insured from the date the contract is accepted by the seller

  • Yes, you are required to submit a Capital Gains Witholding Clearance Certificate and provide it to the purchaser.
